Tina Johnson has facilitated workshops since 1998. She became a certified PAIRS (Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills) in 1998 and held an 8 week workshop for couples many of whom were engaged or newly married. Known as PAIRS First, these classes focused on teaching couples specific skills to manage conflicts and deepen their relationship. Since then, she has facilitated a variety of relationship education seminars. Most recently, she presented on relationships and the importance of healthy attachments and bonding.
"We aren’t taught relationship skills. Consider your parents and grandparents and ask yourself these questions. How did they communicate their affection? Was there physical affection? How did they fight? What were the rules? What did they teach you about talking and listening?"
